In addition to performing as DJ TREW, I also produce + perform as Altered Tapes with my good friend Maker. And in more of band-like situation, there's Guayabera Unlimited where I perform along with a drummer and saxophonist / trumpeter. I try to push myself into new areas musically, and these projects are the result!

Altered Tapes remixes everything. Drawing inspiration from decades of Funk, Latin, Jazz & Hip-Hop, extracting their basic elements and then reconstructing into dance floor bangers. Live & direct from Chicago.

Every month-ish I release a batch of edits, remixes, mashups, etc... It's always a mixed bag genre + style-wise. And lately it's become a chronicle of my adventures and lessons in music production / theory. And a place to do music nerd things.

Guayabera Unlimited is the Drummer / DJ Duo of Jon Marks, + Nigel Ridgeway. With a passion for Afro Latin rhythms, our live performances and studio productions explore the varied dance music styles of Latin America, The Carribean, and Africa.
